This philosophy lives within each bottle of Tenjaku Whisky as it’s distilled in city in Japan, overlooking Mt. Fuji. If people are the heart of Tenjaku, environment is the soul. And nothing embodies this like the natural spring water that serves as the lifeblood of Tenjaku Whisky. All water used during the distillation process is drawn from 250 meters below the surface of the Misaka mountain range. It is then filtered through volcanic rock ensuring a velvety-smooth texture and moderate mineral content resulting in a whisky that is equally balanced and flavorful. Tenjaku Whisky is Masterfully distilled by Kenji Watanabe, who has produced some of the finest and highest rated Japanese whiskies in the world since the late 90’s. Our philosophy of excellence through natural ingredients is derived from our Master Blender, Kenji Watanabe. A world renowned and award-winning craftsman of whisky and wine, Kenji's sincere passion towards craftsmanship can be tested in every sip of Tenjaku Whisky. This explains why Tenjaku was awarded with a 91 (Exceptional) rating from the Beverage Testing Institute. Aroma: Faint smoky accent. Sweet aroma redolent of pear and dried fruit. Palate: A slightly edgy attack. Well-rounded and mellow. Finish: Slightly spicy. A long finish with a hint of white oak and a spreading sweetness.
