“The Mother” is a vine the Ogulin family brought from Croatia in 1870 during their journey through New York to Lake County. It has survived for 150 years on our Home Ranch. In addition to a small vineyard, the family built a home, hand-dug well, livestock barn, and a small winery.The 2023 Organic Mother Vine Rose comes from the mother vine itself; from the one acre of Cinsault from the original mother wood. Grenache Rose was added to enhance the midpalate for a lovely blend. <br />
