Maggio Estates Chardonnay Wine

Description

This Chardonnay was harvested from two different vineyards; Destino, in the Mokelumne River AVA, and K&M Delta in District 11. Their proximity to the Delta waterways allows for more fog influence than other areas of Lodi, contributing to even ripening and delicate citrus and floral notes. Sand-dominant soil allows for deep drainage, and causes the right amount of stress on the vines. Delicate floral nose with orange blossom and hints of spicy oak. Concentrated fruit flavors of meyer lemon cream, crisp apple, and grapefruit. A silky smooth texture with a bright, crisp finish and lingering aftertaste. 14.5% alcohol by volume.
