Whether you’re frying it alongside a couple eggs or putting some on a cheeseburger, this hardwood smoked bacon is sure to be a classic staple in your kitchen.<br /><br /><b>Directions</b><br /><br />Bacon needs to be fully cooked.<br /><br />Skillet<br />Place bacon slices in single layer in unheated skillet. Cook over LOW to MEDIUM heat, turning occasionally, until brown and crisp. Drain on paper towels.<br /><br />Microwave<br />Directions were developed for 1000 watt and higher microwave ovens. Cooking in microwave ovens below 1000 watts will require additional time to reach proper temperature.<br />Place bacon slices between paper towels on paper plate or microwave-safe dish. Cook on HIGH:<br />2 slices for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes; 4 slices for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes, until brown and crisp.<br /><br />Oven<br />Place bacon in single layer in shallow baking pan. Bake at 400°F for 10 to 15 minutes until brown and crisp. No turning is necessary. Drain on paper towels.<br /><br />For food safety, cook to an internal temperature of 165°F as measured with a food thermometer. Appliances may vary; adjust cooking time accordingly. Refrigerate or discard leftovers immediately.<br />
