Organic Supersweet Whole Kernel Corn consists of cut kernels of Supersweet Corn packed with water, sea salt and ascorbic acid. Supersweet varieties provide higher naturally occurring sugar, and/or crisper texture typical for the variety. These varieties may be slightly darker in color, and some varieties have a slightly tougher pericarp than conventional sweet corn. The product is packed in plastic cups with easy peel lids and sufficiently processed by heat to assure preservation.
