With a unique formula containing active enzymes, Drano Max Build-Up Remover helps prevent clogs from forming in your pipes. This product helps remove build up but will not unclog your drain. Use it on a monthly basis to keep your drains running smoothly and prevent clogged drains. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!<br /><br />DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Start-Up Treatment For Drains: Run warm water for one minute. Turn off water and pour 10 ounces into drain. Briefly run WARM water again (approximately 2 cups). Avoid running water for 6-8 hours. For Slow-Running Toilets: 1. Flush 4 ounces down toilet for 3 consecutive days. 2. Don’t flush for 6-8 hours after initial treatment. It may be easiest to treat before going to bed or work. On-going Treatment: Pour 2 ounces down each drain and 4 ounces down each toilet every 2-4 weeks. NOTE: Initial use may cause loosened build-up to slow or, in rare cases, block the flow of water. Don’t worry – this means Drano Max Build-Up Remover is working to remove build-up. Simply plunge and repeat the treatment. For best results: Clear pipes of any clogs before start-up treatment with a DRANO Clog Remover. Use as directed. This product will not open clogs. For clogged drains, try DRANO MAX GEL Clog Remover.
